We continue to develop a growing number of voice and text application (we launched 3 this week alone)! This is the latest in the series!
This particular application demonstrates a simple but effective use of voice application - to engage fans in activity they would normally do (send someone a birthday message) through a interactive voice application that helps generates social media buzz and activity.
How It Works
The way the applications works is simple. Fans call a vanity phone number (720-408-BDAY) and are able to:
- Preview a song from Scotty's upcoming album and receive a link to pre-order it on iTunes (or Amazon)
- Leave a message for Scotty wishing him a Happy Birthday
- Listen to a than you message from Scotty
- Other optional features including: Signing up for mobile or email updates, locating events closest to you, i.e.
When done, fans are able to visit Scotty's Facebook and connect for a chance to have their message featured! We also encouraged UMG Nashville to add a sweepstakes component that allows one lucky fan to win a call back from Scotty! You can check it out here:
